Professional Hockey Graphics

Case Study

Poster Design Assets

The process of creating professional hockey posters is exciting. I start with a theme i.e. player focused or franchise focused etc. After that I choose the color palette, usually staying within the teams already set colors. Once I have inspiration from around the league, I get started!

Poster Mockups

Most of my posters I make are with the fan in mind and what myself as a fan of the sport would want to hang up. Either in my room like I did as a kid or framed in sports den. My poster was designed to be versatile and double as a phone wallpaper as well.

Desktop/Tablet Wallpaper

The process of creating a desktop wallpaper was exhilarating. Desktop wallpapers are not something I usually do and to challenge myself I went ahead and created a Mathew Tkachuk wallpaper. The process was similar to the poster and iPhone wallpaper designs. I started with the color palette that is based with in the brand of the Florida Panthers. After the main process was finished I added some supporting graphics and ended up with these results.

Billboard Advertising Asset

The process of making this asset started with having the 22-23 season about to start in mind. I wanted to create an asset that would most likely be asked by the marketing department to pull in new customers for season tickets. I kept the color palette within the teams already established colors to maintain brand identity.
